Settling in




Well, we're getting settled here in Marathon. Bev starts her job tomorrow. The boat is safely tied up at one of the harbor's very secure moorings. We've found the grocery store, the liquor store, the CVS, etc.
The facilities here are much closer than at Key West. It's only about a 5 minute dingy ride as opposed to 25 to 30 minutes at KW. We're starting to meet some of the other cruisers and it's starting to feel like home.
And that's the rub isn't it? There's something going around down here called "Keys disease." Many of the boaters who spend a little time in the Keys end up never leaving. I can see the temptation.
